About The Event
Madcap trio PS aka Lou Stonehill (guitar), Tony Wright (sax & flute) & Martin Perry (guitar, harmonica & vocals) describe their act as ‘classic and original songs in a virtuosic and/or lighthearted style’ although a closer description might be as given by Steve Pitt owner of Southsea’s respected venue The Cellars, he called it “Musical mayhem fromh 3 maestros – stunning entertainment!” or “Two maestros and Martin!” Jamie, The Concorde Club.
Formed in 2010 (though friends for 100 years), they have between them supported, toured and recorded with artists such as: Rose Royce, Tina Turner, Paul Young, Andy Fairweather Lowe, Zoot Money, Odyssey, Selina Jones, Wham, Dean Friedman and Pete from the Red Lion pub.
Currently Lou passionately runs his own studio (http://www.facebook.com/Studio.4.Hampshire), Tony combines radio session work with teaching saxaphone (http://www.musicmattersonline.co.uk/teachergallery.htm) while Martin helps The Concorde Club – recently voted UK’s best jazz club (http://www.theconcordeclub.com) – and other small and er… huge entertainment clients with marketing.
“Musical mayhem from 3 maestros – stunning entertainment!” Steve Pitt, The Cellars, Eastney.
“Musical mayhem from 2 maestros and Martin!” Jamie Mathieson, The Concorde Club.
